Who we are
Fort Refuge is a vision from God that was given and trusted unto me in such a time as now to strengthen and develop our young men into men God intended us to be. We focus on creating and restoring young men in our communities through establishing the word of God and life lessons. “And God said let us make man in our imagine, after our likeness.” (Gen 1:26)
The Foundation of Fort Refuge is built on key principles that guide personal growth and spiritual integrity:
1. **Integrity** – Upholding honesty and strong moral principles in all actions.
2. **Accountability** – Acknowledging responsibility and being answerable for one's actions.
3. **Faith** – Believing in things hoped for and unseen, trusting in God's promises (as expressed in Hebrews 11:1), and sharpening one another through mutual encouragement (Proverbs 27:17).
4. **Honor** – Always giving reverence to God in all endeavors, ensuring that everything is done to His glory.
5. **Boldness** – Standing firm for the truth, even when it requires standing alone, fortified by the gospel of peace.
6. **Meekness** – Being quick to listen and slow to speak, as advised in James 1:19, recognizing that learning begins with attentiveness.
7. **The Word of God** – The ultimate foundation for wisdom and guidance, shaping lives and decisions.
Together, these principles form the core values of Fort Refuge, emphasizing spiritual growth, responsibility, and a commitment to God's truth.
