Game Night
One of our popular events is Game Night, also known as Bonding Time, where participants can have fun and build connections through games and activities
Event Three
The night before, the speaker spoke about overcoming our fears. The youth took on the challenge of overcoming their fears of public speaking, and we chose to overcome them by giving back to the community. The Fort Refuge youth handed out care packages to displaced Senior Citizens, and they were able to minister and pray for the group. God is amazing as he allowed us to walk in his will.
Meeting Three & Event Two
On Friday night we had our watchman Marlon Leonard minister to the young men, his topic for the night was talking about overcoming fear. The young had the task of prepping care packages for some senior citizens.
Meeting Two
Meeting two the topic was about putting on the full armor of God Ephesians 6:13-17. After we had a break-out session with the young men and it was a success questions were asked, and they began to open up to us. Fort Refuge is about building a safe place for young men to talk and ask questions without being judged.
Event One
Bowling Night with the young men. What better way to get the group to start bonding and enjoying each other's company? Thank God it worked the brotherhood has formed. I am very thankful for the start of Fort Refuge, now let us build.
